Honestly the starter characters can get you really far. Like xiangling, kaeya, lisa, barbara/noelle

These characters were easily accessible in the past, but now, with so many new characters added and mix of them in banners, they are not easy to get for newcommers.

The starter characters you can earn at low ar are:
Traveler (anemo/geo/dendro),
Kaeya, lisa, amber, (tutorial)
Barbara, noelle, (gameplay)
xiangling, collei (abyss)

Of these 8, kaeya has the highest NA for a sword character. Period. Hes gonna help carry new players far if they build him and be a great endgame dps.

No one wants to hear this, butamber has a great multiplier on her burst. Setting up a burning reaction with collei or dendro mc has been an insane ammount of damage that one shots most bosses so far. Overworld. Burning doesnt have a high dmg but it does a lot of instances of damage that add up.

Lisa and barbara are in the top 3 charged attack damage for catalysts. They are really good for dealing constant elemental damage.

Noelle is an amazing unit. Do you keep getting shitty defence stats on your artifacts? Heres your sign to give them to noelle!!! Her burst heals and deals damage she can save your entire team from dieing.

Lastly xiangling ... Xiangling can solo abyss build her already. Shes one of the best supports in the game. 😅


If you really wanted to include beginner charachters paimons shop is also a fair option... Although it requires youve had a ton of bad luck on your wishes already... Which we all have. 😅 So everytime you roll a duplicate weapon/character you earn a bit kf currency back only for that shop. Most people use that money to buy another wish.... But why gamble when you can just save up directly for the character you want . Paimons shop is always reliable and has the same rotation of characters vhanging every month. Get bennette. Get xingqiu. Get fischyl. Get razor. Get beidou. Get constellations for characters! No gatcha needed.

Honestly getting Qiqi in beginning is really good
Shes best HEALER ingame (Bennett heals only with burst while Qiqi heal MORE, FASTER and BETTER, she also can be easly build to physical dps with prototype rancour craftable weapon

I don’t understand why Diluc and Beidou, new players need meta characters that are easy to obtain:
Diluc is a 5 star and courrently the worst 5 star pyro dps, also in the standard banner Kequing, Tighnari and Mona are overall better characters than him.
And Beidou is a very fun character but she isn’t really meta, you should play her only if you enjoy her playstile/lore.
I would say that the top 5 for new players is:
5-Fishl
4-Sucrose
3-XG
2-Benny
1-XQ😊

I've been playing genshin for a while and out of all this characters, Diluc is the only one I don't have because I have terrible luck and having him would have made farming in the two cryo domains for artifacts and materials way easier.

Mona:

- Makes transportation wayyy easier, being able to traverse on water and land faster especially for new players that don’t have a lot of stamina
- Her skill does hydro damage over time and acts like a entity for enemies to attack so it helps new players have a easier time
- Her burst locks specific small enemies in the air for a bit/buffs your team

Imo she’s better than Diluc at early game
(plus players don’t have a hydro character yet, they already have pyro aka Amber)

noelle is my favorite because she has a force field that can protect her from any thing and every time she damages anyone enough she gets healed and she heals her teammates
