In fact, we worked directly with Freddie to develop the derez effect for use in VGHS and were also co-producers of the show (and the upcoming season 2).

Good filmmakers use a mixture of tools and on VGHS they used a wide variety of software packages, including both AE and HitFilm.

Freddie and Brandon first met through using our software, around 10 years ago. :) HitFilm 1 was used on the first season of VGHS. We're currently working with Freddie on VGHS season 2 as co-producers.

Yes, the only limitation is on export. All other features in the software are there for you to try. :)

Freddie & co use all sorts of software. VGHS isn't a show you could make just using Premiere and After Effects. As with all good filmmakers, they mix and match their tools depending on what they need for the individual shots.

I second the Mac version!! I have effectslabpro and compositelabpro but honestly I haven't made movies lately because I need a more efficient program. Hitfilm seems amazing but I a Mac version. :D

after seeing dozens of videos and fall in love with the software I was about to place an order when I realised there's not Mac version. It was so frustrating. So... mac version? When? Hopefully before I choose my visual fx software.

no, they use premiere and after effects, they talked about that in a vghs bts. don't know why the hitfilm guys put a clip from vghs in there
