Avalskar - they're very different products, with very different price tags! As with all filmmaking tools, it depends on your specific needs and setup. We always recommend trying out the demos before buying to see which you prefer. Of course, HitFilm 3 Express is completely free, so you don't even need to worry about running a demo. :)

+HitFilm Actually I figured it out and it is really simple and you don't have to install 3rd party software to sync the audio with footage. It may help others with the same problem as I have. When importing game play from Shadow Play, as an MP4 file to the Trimmer in HitFilm, under the "Media" and the " Arrange By: Name" tab there is the file you imported as seen in 2:11 in the video. When clicking on the gear cog and opening up the Media Properties, look under Video and there should be "Frame Rate:". Uncheck the "From File" box and change it to 60 or desired frame rate. It says in mine the frame rate from the file is a frame rate of 59. This is what causes the problem of audio out of sync. After that, I clicked OK and reviewed my footage. The sound was synced with the sound of gun-fire perfectly. I found this through me trying out settings and messing around. Anyways, thank you so much for your help and I've couldn't come to this conclusion without your help. Thank you for responding and truly caring about your customers.

how is it you can change the end and start points of clips going into one another without changing the duration of the clip? That's a little confusing, maybe I missed something..

I bought HitFilm 2 express a few months ago and I love it. I hope HitFilm 3 express offers something new for me to play around with. Is there any way you could do another tutorial on HitFilm 3 express of a single muzzle flash/gunshot and make it really easy? I have watched all the tutorials you have online but for some reason I can't grasp the basic concept ( and most of the tutorials are for Ultimate and Pro) Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for giving us this software for free.  Never thought I would ever be able to create VFX like I can do now. Opened up a whole new world of creativity. You guys rock!

I didn't even watch the whole video yet or even try this out BUT i subbed!! XD I think this seems great so far, one questions though, can you recolor videos (like add a purple or blue tint etc) to your video? and can you add animated text? last thing is can you add transitions? extremely sorry if all of this was mentioned in the video i have to keep the volume at low because every ones asleep :3
