As we count down the days to Halo Infinite's launch, in recent weeks, we've taken it upon ourselves to recap the entire series' story so far, and until now, we've discussed the events portrayed in Halo Wars and Halo Reach. Of course, there's still a long way to go, and as we continue our Halo recap, here, we're going to be talking about the game that started it all. I think with most all old games it’s hard to get into them if you didn’t grow up with them or were exposed to them in some way in your youth. Especially living in the 4K Next Gen era, these old games are hard to get through but I honestly believe Halo is timeless.
Functionally it’s as easy as a shooter gets & the story is immersive and enthralling. It’s truly a classic and an all time great series in the video game medium. All across YouTube you’ll find that word being used to describe lots of these old games.
Most of those claims truly aren’t accurate because old games are just that… old. Sometimes clunky or archaic but when classic is used to describe Halo it couldn’t be more true.

i just beat it today. the only thing was auto saved checkpoints. you die and get thrown away to literally like 4 or 5 checkpoints away so you have to combat your way all over again which can be demotivating. other than that it was really so much fun and i truly enjoyed it. first time playing halo btw and i intend to complete all the the rest of the series since it's on gamepass

If you've never played Halo CE at the time it was released then it's a different feeling than playing it now to see what it's all about. At the time everything looked so innovative and fresh, the graphics and visuals blew our minds, the gameplay was something that was never done before at such a high quality for console. And the coop was the backbone of the fun. What a time to be a gamer to experience that.

I received my O.G XBOX as a personal gift from a family member only 5 months after the original release date of HALO

& I NEVER got to play it

Crazy Taxi 3 was my very first XBOX game so the "YEAH YEAH YEAH!" Intro was my first Introduction to the XBOX

5:23 ... Uh, excuse me. The library was excellent. I loved making my way through all that Flood. Shotgun for big flood, assault rifle for flood spores, plus grenades; never got old.
