I’m really surprised that people are surprised. The tattoo/piercing worlds have crossed over and coexisted since the beginning. Folks often do suspension performances at tattoo conventions. It just seems like a logical thing to do on a tattoo show, especially if Dave is already into it, which I believe he might be. Hell Robbie Rippoll recently lost his leg due to an accident while suspending at a convention. It freaks me the hell out and I could never do it, but I’m not surprised and I didn’t find it awkward
