Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz on potential VP nomination: 'I'm not interviewing for anything'

During a press conference on Thursday, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz addressed a few questions about him being on the short list for Vice President Kamala Harris' running mate. He said, "I'm not interviewing for anything, I am who I am" and said what qualities he'd like to see in the VP pick.

Hands-down the best choice she could have. Extensive history and dealings in Congress. The Hill wrote up a great article recently talking about specifics.

He's respected on both sides, he calls things like they are, he's an avid gun user, owner, Hunter, but stands for common sense reform. AND he's been vocal with the Democrats about how their messaging is passing over a lot of people in rural communities and the middle of the country. AN IMPORTANT ISSSUE!!

The man was a history teacher, among other things, and an incredibly effective communicator. He also knows how to package things for the community at large to understand how it's relevant to them, something that is often lacking in politics.

He is the voice we need.

Tim is 18 years younger than Trump and is in full command of the english language. Any of the 5 possible VP candidates will make Trump look old and unqualified. I like Tim Walz the most of them but i´m sure Josh Shapiro will do a fine job too. Tim just gives me that authentic feeling. Since VP Harris has released a list of possible candidates to be her VP pick for the Presidential Ticket, I have heard speeches from various of the persons considered. Gov. Tim Walz is smart, authentic, has a nice personality and is well spoken. A plus is that he already has experience in the US Congress. He'd make a great Vice President.
