New COVID ‘FLiRT' variants: Symptoms, spread and more

A new series of COVID variants, nicknamed the “FLiRT” variants, are being tracked by U.S. health officials, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

I had this, and this is not a joke or fake news. I had a ridiculous fever (I was literally sweating buckets), chills, loss of taste and smell, and dizziness. With a stupid name like flirt, how can anyone expect to take this seriously?

Flirt is flirting with my cells right now. I tested positive on 6/5 after having a sore throat 6/3 test was negative that day.
I work at a rehabilitation facility and a fellow coworker brought it in from another facility that he works he came in with symptoms and failed to disclose it and tested positive at end of shift. Now I and other 8 co workers got sick and now 6 patients.
I hate reading comments that say it's a lie and that theydon't want to hear about it.
It's real; it hurts. I'm suppose to be on vacation it's my birthday weekend turning 40 and I'll be in my room because I'll be protecting you non believers. I will be losing $700+ vip tickets to see a Cirque du soleil show. If I didn't believe or cared I would be out there exposing every one.

This is brutal, I have been sick for four weeks, sore throat, congestion, sneezing, eyes pasted shut every morning for weeks, pink eye, fever sweats chills. Then on day 21 I felt good thought it was over . Only to wake up the next day and have all symptoms back at 30 percent strength. But throw in joint pain like I never experienced in my life . I literally felt 90 and the next day! I couldn’t get out of bed for three days. I felt 80 then the next day, 75 the next 70 . A long slow recovery.3 days will be 5 weeks. I’m 58 in good shape . I felt 45 before this hit me . I literally struggle with everything. Please be advised this is really ruff.

I tell you what... The virus I got last month was HORRIFIC... Heart palpitations, vibrations in my legs, feelings of head in a vice for weeks, severe ear and sinus infection, weakness in legs, skin went haywire. It was the closest I've ever been to calling an ambulance. Still recovering weeks later. I mean horrible. Awful. Has me shook to the core. I'm a 40yo distance runner who eats a very good diet and does heavy physical labor. Turned me into puddy, and I take care of two handicapped people at home so it was a nightmare...

i know one major hospital that does surveillance covid testing even if there are no symptoms and the worker wore an N95. my question is… after taking all those tests, should i trust that these tests would not introduce covid? the reaction response is no. but i wonder sometimes
