tip: you can go to the purple storm/ readiation zone on the map, there is a disciple boss, who will constantly summon fully armored zombies in groups

Fastest way to do this:
Equip decoy grenades and spawn in/buy an underpowered smg or AR - find/equip the blast ammo mod to the gray gun - then go to one of the purple storms and walk in a bit to get the attention of the zombies - As you back out of the storm throw a decoy grenade and wait for them all to gather around it - you might have to throw a second one right as the first expires to get more zombies. - when they’re all grouped together use the underpowered gun to shoot into the masses.
Voila. You’re done (may need to repeat a second time)

Easier method for getting the required 25 count: the ammo mods have a cooldown, so what actually works better, is just kiting the armored ones around untill your blast ammo is off cooldown, takes like 20 seconds and saves ammunition+time. Did it in 10 minutes in the orange zone. I used the P90 for high ammo count and low damage.

Go to exfill and grind there you will do it in 2 to 3 exfill

I put it on a sniper, easy to see the armor Z when ADS, second weapon was an LMG to filter the non armor Z. With a fully maxed sniper and a P&P it broke the armor one shot and again was easy to snipe from a building to break armor. Just hit your shots, if not a sniper then don’t use this method as again, you have to hit your shots. The KD was what I use. I also farmed and found (4) mod’s prior to going in with them for the mission. Takes time but once you are equipped there’s no stress with time and plenty mods to fall back in. Used the time to max weapon and a Camco. The level 2 train tracks (between 1 & 2) spawn armor z like crazy so pretty easy with plenty of running room.

After getting the shatter blast mod go to the red zone and get a horde chasing you. Go into near by water and they will stand there looking at you. Done in 2 minutes.

Best way to get shatter blast is to skip this mission and do escort first to get the schematic and then you always have the mod

Easiest way to do this is to apply the Shatter Blast to an under leveled SMG that does little damage. Same for killing the hellhounds with cyro. The more bullets shot at the armored zombies the better the chance of Shatter Blast. The key is high level zombies, low level gun with ammo mod.
