WOW! Thank you Serge. I’ve been trying to find a way to edit without performance and effects being influenced. I edited from my external all the time and I couldn’t carry on editing with all the delays. Good hardware. M1 pro, 16 ram and 16core GPU. I thought this is impossible.

1. Can i edit from a SSD external drive in proxy only. It has all my footage on it
