I was expecting this to be one of those review videos that does just enough to get a tool for free and not feel guilty. But I ended up watching the whole thing and am pretty jealous I don’t have a few of those new features. Well done review, Gerald Undone would be proud.

Our workshop is next to a Zimmerei (German term for carpenters who build houses, big beams etc) these specialised carpenters (that I've seen) exclusively use mafell. Their tools are so strong its insane. I got their track saws and they're 200watt stronger than festool and they use blades that are 0.4mm thinner. So, more power and less resistance. Pricey but worth it. Think Cam also uses a mafell.

This just popped up in my feed as I've been contemplating this upgrade. The fact that you cut the 8/4 walnut effortlessly made me order it immediately. My Makita track saw struggles to all hell cutting 8/4 anything

Oh lord, I guess my current TS55 will be hitting Marketplace with the rest of them.

I've had the Woodpeckers rail square since I had a WEN track saw, I think it was my first ever Woopeckers tool. I love that freaking thing.

Tool reviews from a talented professional are always good to see. This review was great, especially from someone who's never used a track saw. Thanks!!!

And just like that, tens of woodworkers around the world just felt their wallets and wives shudder in fear.

Best Festool commercial I’ve ever seen!

This is easy. I love 731. Lots of info and lots of enthusiasm. But he makes cutting boards and stuff on a CNC. Spagnolo is great as well but he does not come close in quality and design. You are a pro. Only Padula and Blake Weber are in the same league. If I want to know about a high end tool I want to know it from you. Excellent. Keep it up. I am a bit of an invalid right now. I do wood working vicariously. You are a blessing to me. Keep it up. God Bless. W. David McGuinn.

They just make the best stuff, if only it was within my budget... Lucky for you you got to keep this one!

Great review explaining the new corded track saw and the new angle square. 👍👍👍

This is a great saw, has a lot of improvements but let’s be real. If you take out the riving knife and put a makita specialized 1.45mm kerf silencer blade, you end up with the best package on the market.

The makita blades are on a different level.

Every time I watch your videos, you kinda look like Steven crowder. Anyways. Love the build videos. You are the master of unconventional furniture. Keep it up.

Recent shoulder surgery had me looking for equipment that favored my aging limbs. I first picked up the HKC 55 with track and gave away my worm drive Milwaukee skillsaw. From there I went with cordless TSC 55 KEB even though the batteries add weight, loosing the cord was worth it. Why both, the HKC is so light I questioned if it would do the job. Better cut quality by far and so far zero binding. Accuracy in angle cuts with the short attached track is amazing. What’s the adage of “ Build a better mousetrap”, well festool does just that and it’s proven by higher resale dollars when selling used equipment.

Nice review Nick. I have the original TS55 and MFT 1080 table and still love them but, you're tempting me to upgrade here. Need to also add that I've never heard a Festool owner say they felt like their purchase was a bad investment afterwards.
