I've got one 'big' problem with the Pixel 9a...

The issue is the glued battery that can't be replaced or recycled. No one will replace it because it can catch on fire and safety

That camera bump is nothing. Similar to the Galaxy S9 i used to use. Unlike my Pixel 8 Pro that LITERALLY DOUBLES HOW THICK MY PHONE IS!

The average consumer is really not gonna care for that but someone that likes cameras enough they probably would want that to change, but if I was getting this one, I wouldn’t worry about the camera lift. I just need to try to take a couple shots.

The biggest problem I see is the XXS Gemini Nano model, which not only means it has limited applications on-device but will also be severely limited if at some point in the future AI will actually have some practical utility being sorting my screenshots.

That "little camera bump" is important for protection...if the back glass breaks the the cameras are still gonna be fine
