Chocolate Syrup is used as a topping for almost every dessert. Chocolate sauce is easy to make and even very cheap to prepare compare to a store bought one. Chocolate syrup only needs three ingredients mainly which includes sugar, cocoa powder and water. The remaining ingredients are all optional. That is the corn flour is to give a little more extra thick to the syrup and the butter gives an extra glace which makes our dessert more presentable.
Chocolate syrups are even used to make chocolate shakes and puddings. Also chocolate syrups are used for decorating cakes and plates for desserts for making it more attractive. The chocolate syrup, I have it with vanilla Ice Cream with some nuts over it. This makes our simple Vanilla Ice Cream rich.
But don’t confuse between chocolate sauce and chocolate syrup. Chocolate sauce is much thicker and even needs a little more effort to make. And the main ingredient is chocolate itself.
You can refrigerate this chocolate syrup up to 6 months if you want. But I bet you, it won't last for 6 months if you have a chocolate lover in your house.
