You honestly could fit the whole of Heaven Sent in here and I don’t think anybody would mind

The doctor sipping tea in davros’ chair will forever be iconic

I loved having two-parters back to back, the stories got to play out well. Heaven Sent was a grand Peter Capaldi masterpiece. 55 minutes of him being the only person in the episode, talking his way out, the breaking the wall sequence. It was a magnificent performance!!!

“Of course the real question is, where did I get the cup of tea? Answer: I’m the Doctor, just accept it.” The greatest line ever.

To be perfectly honest, Series 9 is my favourite of the Capaldi era. Not just the increase in two-parters and longer storytelling, but also the dynamic bonding between the Doctor and Clara. Highly underrated from start to finish!

I like that in Day of the Doctor, Bad Wolf says that Tennant is the man who regrets and Smith is the man who forgets, but then in Series 9 we have Capaldi, the man who remembers.

The second he picked up a guitar, he solidified a fan for life. Honestly, though, it was the 11th doctor calling Clara at the end of his first episode and telling her to give him a chance to gave me the reassurance that he was gonna be a good Doctor, and he was truly great. Wonderful memories. I hope he comes back for the 60th anniversary. I miss him. Who am I kidding, I miss all the new series Doctors, and Tom Baker from the old seasons. All of them have been amazing in their own way.

Brilliant series. Peter and Jenna were both on their A game and the directing is some of the best the show ever had.

Heaven Sent is truly something special.

The frustration and pain Capaldi worked into the part, yet behind his eyes shows love, kindness and protection for anyone made him my doctor.

Phenomenal actor who's heavily under-appreciated.

I just noticed something for the first time: when Rassilon gives the order to shoot, he turns away so he doesn't have to watch the violence being done at his command. As a result, he doesn't notice that the violence is not in fact occurring, until after all of the firing was complete. That subtly changes the timing of the scene, thereby making it a better cliffhanger.

It's been years since Twelve, but I still miss him everyday. Series 9 was one of the strongest series of Doctor Who, with Peter being a big reason why it was that good. Jenna is also at her peak as Clara, and overall, just a solid series.

Please come back for the 60th Peter, we miss you

Everybody talking about how brilliant Heaven Sent is as an episode. And I completely agree, it's brilliant acting. But we cannot forget The Zygon Inversion?? The speech about war is the best speech ever in Doctor Who! Capaldi deserves an Oscar

Missed one: the scene right after, when the broken Doctor finds his own Tardis, finds his last message from Clara and starts to move on. Peter's acting and Murray's music are perfect here. "Face the Raven", "Heaven Sent" and Hell Bent", as a trilogy, are as good as it gets. "Heaven Sent" may be the best single episode in the series' history. 12 rules! And I will always remember my Impossible Girl.

Definetly my fav Capaldi series. I adore 12 and Clara together, they're amazing along with the brilliant episodes

The peak of NuWho!!! Say what you will about that finale, but this series had the most consistent run of the entire NuWho.

It had the strongest characterization, the most emotional storylines, and the reintroduction of some classic characters here serves a purpose, not just some throwaway cameo.

Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman’s dynamic have been the strength of this series.

I feel like this series is probably the best of all time due to the variety and also the fact that Heaven Sent exists

WOW laugh till my sides split, cry till my tear ducts were empty. The Doctor and Clara episodes were some of the best I have ever watched and I have been watching Dr Who for decades I'm only 55 years young, long may it continue.

I always wondered why Rassilon was a different actor than last time we see him.

then I realized just now, The Master likely killed him with his lightning at the end of Tennants arc.

I hope Peter Capaldi and Katherine Tate are apart of the 60th and there being a moment when Donna says something along the lines of, "you chose to save people, I can see it in your face"
