On May 9th. I planted 5 of each seed, I received from the EFM network.
Belenzian Crambe seed
maturity 80 days. . Plants erect, uniform, .6-1m (3.28 feet) tall at maturity. Tolerant of chilling and temperate summers

faro Quinoa (Pedros select)
PLANTING DEPTH: 1/4" APPROXIMATE GERMINATION DAYS: 3-4
Spacing 12"
Height 4-6'/ DAYS TO MATURITY: 108-120

Camelina sativa (L.) Crantz
Grows 30cm (12 inch) to 120 cm (48 inch) tall
Human food: potential as oil/fat. Exceptionally high levels (up to 45%) of omega-3 fatty acids, which is uncommon in vegetable sources
Quinoa is naturally covered with a bitter tasting soapy substance called saponin.

when I was in Peru several years ago, it was every meal with Quinoa, got a bit tired of it, but it has the highest protien value grain.

Gah!!!! If it isn't the birds, it's the tree's giving off herbicide, or lack of rain, or cold weather, or bad soil, or parasitic insects, or the seeds get washed away, or there isn't enough sun, or there's too much sun... gardening has just got to be the most enjoyable masochistic endeavors.
