On February 14, 2017, the bodies of Abigail Williams (23 June 2003–13 February 2017) and Liberty German (27 December 2002–13 February 2017) were discovered near the Monon High Bridge Trail, which is part of the Delphi Historic Trails in Delphi, Indiana, United States, after the young girls had disappeared from the same trail the previous day. The murders have received significant media coverage because a video and audio recording of an individual believed to be the girls' killer were found on German's smartphone. On Monday, February 13, 2017, 13-year-old Abigail Joyce "Abby" Williams and 14-year-old Liberty Rose Lynn "Libby" German were dropped off by German's older sister, Kelsi German, on County Road 300 North, east of the Hoosier Heartland Highway. The girls were hiking on the Monon High Bridge over Deer Creek, among woodland in remote Deer Creek Township. At 2:07 p.m., Libby posted a photo of Abby walking the bridge; after this they were not heard from again. They were reported missing at 5:30 p.m. after they failed to meet Liberty’s father at 3:15 p.m. The families initially searched for the girls themselves before calling the police. Authorities who quickly searched the area did not initially suspect foul play in the disappearance. However, this changed when the bodies of the girls were found around noon the next day. The bodies were found on the north bank of Deer Creek.

I don’t think that Libby was intentionally taking video & focusing on BG. I think she was focusing video on Abbie, and BG just happened to be way off in the background. That’s why BG appears so pixelated. I think the Hollywood storybook ending ppl want to believe is that she was focusing on BG.

It is really great that you are doing all this research ... it just seems that LE certainly could/should have done this research. The FBI was consulted with weren't they? Certainly frustrating.

Have you seen the caps for hunting, snowmobiling or etc... that have the cap with shorter brim and it goes on like a gator. The back of head and neck are all covered. On the very front of the neck material it lifts up to cover under the eyes, covers the nose to the end. So the nostrils and mouth are all open. Then material starts covering below lips. And this lower part of face mask is also what attaches to neck, back of head and cap.

Those little girls were from that town and probably knew a lot of people. They would not have said he was a creepy guy if they knew him. One of the girls told someone that they were being followed by a creepy guy.

It's so pixelated because BG was quite a distance away from the girls when the video was being taken. It's been enlarged to try and get detail out of it.

Might be really pixelated since its been edited. I heard things have been edited out. Like, I heard BG had a brand name or symbol on his left upper side of his jacket, but they edited it out. So I'm sure they edited other things out. & when you edit & transfer files it becomes more pixelated over time, being saved as different images.

Try a cenent gray (light/med gray) thin fleece scarf, folded in half before wrap around. Try it just wrapped & then take one or both ends & put through the loop it created. My experience w/paint & photography, the gray will create that brighter area when light hits, shodows where folded/no light. Maybe that's the loop?

Charity idea...
I stay in Scotland so not matter area to myself...
However thought, with u saying u are all big animal lovers, which is brilliantly heart warming to hear! Maybe u could find some smaller, even local charities, that are dealing directly with animal rescue, helping injured animals, or helping get back into the wild etc.
Whether it be things like hedgehogs, birds, deer, farm or marine animals, whatever animals are more local to u.
Maybe these places even a small donation could help them out week to week, month to month a lot, if helps to buy food, bedding, vets bills etc?

Just a thought as sometimes u think bigger charities, sometimes the money may be paying for managers, advertising etc, and u don't see Ur money directly helping the animals at the front end. I know does in the end, but giving directly to small charities that solely depend on donations to run, and u can follow the progress of some animals even too...

Great work too... Thoroughly investigating different angles of the case that others may overlook as u just don't know what little detail could hold the key to unlocking the case and bringing the perpetrator(s) to justice... Not before time... Crazy how some people actually do get away with murder... U would think it would be virtually impossible in this day and age!!! Makes u wonder... Between phones, DNA, CCTV in surrounding areas, witnesses, people in the area at the time etc... How does this murderer get away and still not caught... Was he experienced either in murder or law and order somehow.
I mean u couldn't plan these things to not get caught, and actually not get caught, u would think anyway.
And yeah, even having a video of the probable suspect... Grrr.... Crazy... Hopefully they are shaking in their shoes daily wondering if this is the day the police are coming for them.
I know not, but I sometimes thought the video guy looked bit like the lead investigator!! Coincidence I'm sure. If can ever be sure.
Everyone innocent until proven guilty.
But same time...
Everyone is a suspect until proven not!?

Hi Chris, I'm not sure about the current version, but I remember Snapchat used to have a 'soft focus' filter by default giving off this type of recording, it might be possible to jailbreak the iPhone 5 you have and find the old version of Snapchat that was available in early 2017 to re-enact?

Also, another thing to note too, the stabilization was digital on the native iOS camera app, but I believe at the time Apple didn't give 3rd party apps access to this feature, so any movement would vastly effect the output image
