Hobbyking pulse jet - no luck

not getting enough fuel... try starting it with something like carb cleaner and an air chuck to get the fuel flowing bc the built in air jet on some of the hk pulse jets are at the wrong angle to provide the correct air to fuel ratio to get it started initially.

You are flouding it.Red flame says to much fuel.Put the fuel leval just below the jet then on off the air trigger watching the fuel climb the fuel line each time.Use full air pressure.Try from 45psi to 60

your problem is that ur holding full air pressure and not pulsing the air trigger mine did this when I first used it. because I was holding the air trigger open it wouldnt allow the valve to close also make sure u dont have any air leaks mine had one at the locking ring. its says 40psi but ive used upto 130psi and its started every time. if your still having trouble pm me and ill do my best to help. these pulse jet dont have the best quality but its $70 what do u expect

this is clearly lack of fuel. when working in aspired mode, pulse jets are really sensitive to the distrance between tank and the engine, and the size of feeding tube as well. try decreasing the size of the tube and place the tank closer to the engine. I suggest less than half of this distance.

The issue is that the air injector isn't going though the fuel and into the spark chamber. You need to make some modification to make it work. Hobbyking is rubbish at product control.
