You may not get many crewkills in this sector, but this banger of a song can make up for it

I remember hearing this song for the first time, fighting the auto guard and almost getting killed by it. Felt like an auto-ship boss fight, and is definitely one of the moments that made me fall in love with this mod. I find myself sometimes deliberately going to these sectors for this soundtrack.

Man the melody from 0:00 - 1:17 fits the theme of robots and attack drones so well. Consistent and orderly, you can predict where the notes will go most of the time with small changes to the overall tone

But then suddenly the part at 1:20 hits and it completely changes the pace of the robotic themed introduction. This sudden change doesn’t sound like it’s depicting the battle but rather the perspective of the drone itself. Almost as if it’s trying to tell you that there may be something more to drones in this universe. The break here makes you question why it changed at all from its predictable melody.

Meaning it makes you question whether or not there’s more to the drones you’re fighting. A pause in the usual destroying of robots. This melody sounds as if there’s more “soul”. Like the robot itself wants to dance in the way it feels it should.

the autoship shows no cowardice and moves in to attack, well, its an autoship, its kind of expected








as the autoship crashes into the nearby asteroid, you receive a transmission of a robotic voice, "FUCK YOU YOU FEDERATION FUCKING DYING, THIS HURTS SO BA-" you cut it off, fearing what it might say next

This theme is an absolute BANGER of a track. By far the best one I've heard. (I've heard everything up to augmented)

2 Things:


For one, it's cool that the tempo is exactly 60bpm, kinda like a robot counts seconds.

Second, the part at 1:52 is by far the best and I wish it was longer and expanded upon!
