I searched the entire web looking for someone with a video that would reassure me it could be done, and could not find one. So here you go, I guess I’ll be the pioneer.

Hope this helps someone make their choice when buying equipment. You don’t need a really huge truck. Mine is a 2013 v6 preRunner with the 4.0. The 14k trailer weighs about 1900lbs.

I will say it is not easy on your brakes. Also, take off is slow, but that is to be expected. All in all, I would not do this everyday. But it is doable, and the ride is smooth. It’s all about weight distribution.

It was enjoyable pulling this beast down the road, driving past big trucks. Other Tacoma’s would turn and stare, I think I may have started something. Don’t be surprised if you start seeing this in a small town near you! Directly from Wesley Chapel, Florida. Happy Towing!
