Light Bulb Security Cameras Worth It? LaView L2 Camera Review

Today, we are going to check and review the LaView L2 Light Bulb WiFi Security Camera. I have seen tons of this type of cameras at Amazon but I don't really see major brands selling it. And a lot of these light bulb cameras are mostly white labeled (generic that are re-branded). We will check out this one from LaView which I know that they make security cameras and see if this L2 Light Bulb camera is worth it and if it is a good buy.

I’m impressed. The sound quality is not great but the overall performance isn’t that bad. It won’t replace my Ring cameras but I can see other uses. I don’t why they wouldn’t make it water proof.

For $40 this actually has some good features, and the notification speed puts my Wyze Cam V3 to shame!
Other than lack of waterproofing, the only other downside is the abysmal sound quality.

quick question: can you manage(delete the other recordings) the storage of the SD card through the app? or do you have to pull out the SD card first?

I just picked one of these up with a 20% coupon and am very pleased so far. The app works well. Remember it only works on 2.4 wifi network. The starlight setting is to improve night viewing.

I could easily see renters using this kind of camera since they can be installed in just a light socket.

The advantage of this type cctv is, the power supply its already built in, you just need a bulb socket and good to go. hopefully more company make this type of cctv.
