Hi. Thanks for the excellent video.
Does the screen remain on constantly while the iron is in use?
Can you estimate how many hours you used it before it became unreadable?

The same thing happened to my TS100 while I been ill for some time and not used it for ages it just lost it's brightness it's a mystery why as it's been sealed in it's case ? I have linked to your video as when I get a new display I have to follow your tutorial.
