I have the same problem with a few of my units. Open up the TS100. There is a small daughterboard which holds both the microcontroller and small 12-Pin LGA accelerometer. Remove the accelerometer completely. Reassemble. Your problem will be solved, and the only thing missing is motion detection (you will have to push a button to turn the iron on when it times out, instead of just picking it up).


Screw MiniDSO, who would not help with the issue even after buying 10 of these units.
