I have taken prednisone many times for rheumatoid arthritis, it can make you very emotional, hungry, keeps you awake, headaches etc. I use to always take benadryl at night or I could not sleep. Hope the prednisone helps with your rash. It helped so much with my arthritic pain.

You could use fabric markers on the shoes

I love the black shoes! Maybe she likes them too? As a little girl everyone pushed pink stuff on me but I loved black and dark blue more than any other color. Of course lindy can be different but she already has so much pink. she might not talk but try and ask for her opinion somehow? If she prefers pink that's awesome!

Was Sawyer maybe saying he was upset because he had to leave school to go to shoe doctor? He is doing very well responding when spoken to. He has come a long way.

You must have scarlet fever rash from the strep? Were you on antibiotics for it? Oatmeal bath, calamine lotion, cortisone...
