Man, I love Ruby as a language and have recently become completely convinced that it is superior to Python in almost every way. Really sad to see how far its fallen. It's a beautiful language. I'd really like to know why it died. I know that it's "out of fashion, " but the language itself seems to be one of the most enjoyable and dynamic programming experiences I've ever had. I know that some might rightfully argue that it's slow and I can't deny this, but then again, people are still using Django and Flask, so I don't really see the point if we're willing to use something as painfully slow as Python. It just seems like Ruby gets a lot of hate, but I'm not sure why. It's really a language I'd like to learn a lot more of.

Totally confused. I work full-time as a Ruby developer. I've built an app with rails, and will build my next app with rails.
What's the issue with Ruby? 😅

You guy jest, but Ruby is fine for fast prototyping. I cannot see any critique directed to Ruby that wouldn't apply to Python. Thing is Python exploded in data science because its community, but with regards to core functionality, Ruby and Python are mostly equivalent.

Greatest joke about Ruby ever! You even bothered to make a clone of indeed :D When talking about cars - this is why I started to learn electricity accompanied by coding.
