I don’t know if it matters, it this wasn’t the first Oled to do offer display port 2.1 with UHBR20. Gigabyte did it with the AORUS FO32U2P. Plouffe reviewed it.

what a time to be alive indeed.. I remember consulting your videos when I first made an upgrade to a 144Hz TN Panel for High fps gaming in 2014-2015... The improvements in Tech in just the last decade is mindblowing

The current rate of year over year improvements in display tech is exciting. After nearly 2 decades of just "lcd again but number bigger", we are finally seeing displays getting really good, and better every year. Hopefully the pace doesn't slow down.

Still improvements to be made before we hit true endgame though:
-Discrete Red Green and Blue sub pixels rather than shared (most oleds share some sub pixels)
-BFI standard (and CRT beam emulation) that removes need to double bandwidth or have tradeoffs
-improved longevity (possibly through electro emissive QD?)

UHBR 20 is badass but they're gonna have to figure out how to make the cables longer, that just isn't enough. Double that would be fine, wonder if you could put an amplifier in the middle

i had a 27" 4k monitor and the sharpness was insane. I dont regret going 32" with these qd oleds, but its nice to see them coming in at this size too. options are always great
