New 2021-22 Honda CR-V Sport Review | Great Family SUV!

The five-seat CR-V is Honda’s entry in the compact SUV class. It comes with front- or all-wheel drive and a choice of conventional or hybrid powertrains. Gas-only versions are powered by a 190-horsepower, turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that works with a continuously variable automatic transmission. Hybrid versions feature two electric motors and a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that make 212 hp total. Competitors include the Nissan Rogue, Subaru Forester and Toyota RAV4.

The CR-V is one of the more spacious choices among compact SUVs, with a well-finished interior and good fuel economy. It comes with a competitive assortment of advanced safety features, and an available fuel-sipping hybrid powertrain is a plus. But you’ll have to step up from the base LX trim to get a touchscreen multimedia system and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
