African heads of State are in St. Petersburg to strengthen ties

Russian trade in Africa accounts for a mere one percent of foreign direct investment on the continent. African heads of State are in St. Petersburg this week for a two-day Russia-Africa economic and humanitarian summit. The Russians say it aims to foster mutually beneficial cooperation and partnerships. It was first held in 2019 with a commitment to continue meeting every three years. Crystal Orderson looks at what's at stake for Africa.

Now the problem is we share same 7 continents on earth. We might jump from one continent to another to build new partnerships but we ultimately reach same point from where we started. So even new beginings should be good & old bonding should be even stronger. Stick together & good bilateral ties goes a long way in buliding partnerships in new ventures in future. Russia-Ukraine war brought many oppurtunities for other but not for their own people & innocent people should not suffer.
