When people running a company did not build the company, they have no appreciation of the blood sweat and tears and decades to finally get a successful product to market. Each resource used to make the product, was a decision that required knowledge, and the owner has to depend on that knowledge to judge the best way to go….to weight, cost, efficiency, reliability, etc.. The government pushing in bureaucrats to make political decisions on input resources immediately destroys the integrity of the product and profit margins. It’s like throwing a baseball bat into a spinning propeller. It’s sickening what the government is doing to these once great companies. And, of course, it also sinks the economy. ESG’s and DEI are poison to America.
It also destroys the principal of private property!
