Short naps do NOT work for me, no sleep is ever refreshing for me no matter what:(

Naps help the way drinking juice helps a person with low blood sugar... it prevents the crash.

But a nap has NEVER stopped me from going to sleep at night. I can sleep 23 hours wake up then go to bed and sleep all night.

For those living with Narcolepsy and for those who have managed their children’s symptoms, diet and food intake is important. As the person matures, you quickly learn it’s also affected by stimulation and many exercises can be introduced to provide a full life experience instead of big Pharma wanting to medicate or alternative medications. Thinking outside the box with the individual to identify what works will help as everyone is different and narcolepsy should not limit or prevent individual from achieving anything they set their mind to.
