The Truth! How It Feels To Wear This Watch! - AP Royal Oak Frosted!

One thing is seeing it in photos or even the display and another thing is actually wearing this watch around. After using this Audemars Piguet Frost Royal Oak for a while I really got to see how this watch makes me feel and the results are quite different than I had expected. Maybe it's just that I had high expectations or maybe it's the grey dial that really does not offer any contrast. But I really was not excited about the finish. In theory its a heavy hitter and does have a unique look to it, but wearing it was a whole other experience. In this video I will express all the emotions and thoughts that this piece made me feel.

It’s subjective. I’ve seen it in person. From distance it looks like an aftermarket ice out AP, but when u get close u realize .. ohh wait those aren’t diamonds .it’s also shiny at the light . The purple dial on the frosted finish is a mint piece, tried it on a while back. Even though if you hit the frosted finish hard or light bang, rub, I still believe it will hide the damage better then the satin any day of the week, preventing any kind of refinishing. A brand new RO with satin, including my own, a few nicks and one ding on my bezel you can see them at a glance. I love the look, it’s something I don’t believe anyone else has done on the market, looks blingy without the full diamond pave price, more sporty then stones, even though it’s 250k a diamond piece would be at least double. I would love to see a stainless model with a teal dial. Great video on a rare watch Eric, Jeff.

I love your honesty Eric, I'm looking at buying one now. I like the frosted look over the regular brushing....i wouldn't wear a full iced out watch..a little too much BLING! Frosted is just the right amount of bling for me. I would say that the grey dial absolutely KILLS the watch 😢, the dark blue is way better. The purple is an option too BUT you want a watch that as you get older, you dont want to look blah!!! It is a pity you did not do the video with the dark blue dial, i just bet that you would have been singing praises on how GREAT it looks and how it made you feel.
