I'm not Spanish but this is my 6th year doing it (due to A-Level Spanish) and these were all pretty easy. At GCSE, I was the only one who knew desafortunadamente in my class so when people asked me how to say unfortunately, I didn't say "por desgracia". No no no, I said desafortunadamente. The looks on their faces were priceless

In Mexican Spanish a couple of those words are totally different or at least, not really used. "Frigorífico" is the first I've heard. We just call it "refrigeradór" or "refri" for short. A Portuguese person once asked me if I liked "melocotón" and I had no idea what they were talking about. Finally I knew it was a "durazno."

Haha! Que cool. En Puerto Rico al refrigerator le decimos “Nevera”. Pero pa’l peach también decimos “Melocotón”. Sé que algunas partes de Latino América le dicen “Durazno”.
