Converting Text to Curves - A Corel Draw How To

When send Corel Draw files to be opened on another computer, text fonts become an issue. Most users do not have the same set of fonts. If your target user does not have the fonts used in the file installed the file will not be displayed correctly. This short video teaches Corel Draw users how to convert text to an object or curves. Converting text to curves, or creating an object from the text, will ensure portability and give the designer additional flexibility with the text. I sometimes refer to this as setting it in stone, because after converting the text you will no longer be able to edit it with the text tool. Be sure that the spelling is correct before converting or you will have to start over to correct it.

You can select the artistic text and weld it together. Arrange>>Shaping>>Weld.

In script when I convert to curves (in 2 color) I get holes in the connected pieces...how do I adjust that?

not possible in CorelDraw as far as i know.
