the scene where her and paxton are stuying in her room is so natural. like the rapping thingy and all is so like what would happen. i thought it was just super relatable when studying with a friend.

I saw a comment on Twitter that’s so true “ you want to hate her but then you remember she’s a grieving teen” 😭

I feel like no one has noticed how much Devi has improved in season 2. Like sure she was selfish and problematic in some scenes, but she was such a good friend this season. She was actually there for Eleanor and Fabiola and helped them through their problems. In the first season, Devi chose to help Paxton over Eleanor when her mom left. But in the second season, she chose to help Aneesa and try to do the right thing in that situation rather than help Paxton study. She supported Eleanor in the play and through her toxic relationship with Malcolm, helped Fabiola during the dance, and helped Aneesa stay at the school. And like her narrator said, she literally went from offering her virginity to Paxton to walking away from him because he wasn't giving her what she wanted. She definitely was not the best girlfriend, but she knew what she did was wrong and showed genuine remorse for her actions, and she suffered consequences. No one forgave her right away, and they made her earn it. I just love Devi so much ahhhh

No matter how many mistakes Devi made I still love her character! She's really hard to not like. Plus she tried to make things right and it worked♥️

People should thank Mindy Kaling for this show, not Netflix.
