I dont understand why ppl think that Devi doesn't deserve them...she hurt their feelings only once in season 1..but just think abt it, your crush need you for the first time...ofc me and you will choose frnds over crush...but Devi is not at all shown as a perfect teenager..for girls at that age...crush may become more imp than frnds(even eleanor did the same thing in season 2)...and its not like that she cmplty abandoned them..she was going to come after everything was done but its not her or anybody's fault that it did took a lot of time..so is this justifiable? NO..Understandable? somewhat YES. Afterwards she did work so hard to gain back their trust which makes it clear that how much she loves her frnds.
