I had slightly dark lips and nivea soft cream helped me with it. Here's what happened :
My lips started peeling off more frequent and I used to lick them.. So used Vaseline on them thinking it would be fine as I had always used Vaseline as lip moisturizer but don't know what happened.. It became worse.. Feeling burning sensation and sometimes it would sort of shred like dandruff.. Went to a dermat.. He gave miosavave moisturizer and a face wash.. After that I was traumatized with Vaseline because at that time my lip corners would pain and I could not even open my mouth comfortably wide enough for a spoon.. Then I started using nevia cream that I used on my face... On my lips also.. I feel my lip darkness became less.
Edit : If it worked for me doesn't mean it might work for everyone.. So if you feel burning sensation or anything visit a dermat
