The 90s docs are far superior quality, you just need to take care of them. If you can brush your teeth every day, surely you can clean and polish your boots every so often

If you replace them to wear regularly please get the Made In England ones. They are far superior. I would then take those and have them re-soled. They are a great shoe and worth keeping forever!

My one's split on the inside edge leather close to the sole inside and they were from the 80s didn't last 3 years!!

No way retirement for those DM's ... I have 2 pairs of boots of different heights and a pair of shoes all from the 80's (most expensive shoes/boots I ever bought to this day), and I wear them all the time. They still have tons of life in them. Too much nostalgia, besides who has 40+ year old boots!

Even some people still wear them even the leather are damaged. On that way, it can show the jounrneys of their classic DMs. I'll do the same thing. Or maybe, I will express my artistic side by painting it using shoe paints for leather.

Quick question, as a man i still took a one more size than my usual . My old pair survive for 1year only ! It got destroyed by all the walking .

Do wearing the right size gonna change anything or is the leather not durable enough to walk a lot ?
