Spent my first 12 years in Thunder Bay. Till about 1962. Have been back many time since. It’s a beautiful area but economically has seen better times when industry really was booming. There have been many improvements around the harbor but the main streets are suffering. I guess not unlike many towns. Just an incredibly beautiful natural area all around the city. Nice video.

That view of the break water is where I used to watch ships coming and going from our filing room at Great West Timber s sawmill in Port Aurther. That was back in 1972, so don’t know if it’s still there or not. But knowing that so many industries shut down in latter years I doubt it’s there. I’ve since moved away but miss TBay very much.
