This is a good lesson here.
One of the things I figured out about my swing is that almost dragging the club along the ground for 18 in with a combined driving the left shoulder to the ground, keeps me inside. When I don’t visualize driving the left shoulder to the ground, I develop and arms swing and never really rotate.
Anyway that’s my two cents.

Good video Alex. What you are doing, in effect, is grooving the correct club head path. Instead of an out to in path at impact this exercise will give you a more in to out impact path. Most golfers don't practice good path, yet I think it's the most important aspect to acquire. Once you can get your club head to consistently go down the same path good golf will be yours!

Another driver help might be to place your driver face a few inches behind the ball at setup thus squaring up your shoulders. I think Mo Norman (the games straightest hitting ever pro) used to do this. This teaches you to bottom out the club head in your swing well before the ball and give you the necessary upward blow.

Great tip. I tend to lunge at the driver and as a result hit down on it. I'll work this into my routine.

For me this only works if the proper hip movement is accomplished. That is right hip and left hip work back causing the right knee to move to the left knee. This makes room and allows for the demonstrated shoulder to turn under to that nice finish. Leave out any part I fail to strike solid. Love your channel. 👍
