During the college football game between Michigan and Michigan State, Michigan State offensive lineman Spencer Brown was ejected for hitting a Michigan player in the back of the head helmet first.

The absolute stupidity of the announcer trying to excuse this thuggish behavior by saying, "It's always the second guy who gets caught." There was no "funky block", or any other action on the part of the Michigan player to initiate this kind of violence.

As a Michigan fan I think this was clearly an accident. The way he put all of his body weight and force into driving his helmet into the back of the head of a defenseless player was just him slipping while trying to help the defender up.
