Long March-5B launches China’s new-generation crewed spacecraft

China’s new-generation crewed spacecraft was launched by the first Long March-5B launch vehicle from the Wenchang Space Launch Center, Wenchang, Hainan Province, China, on 5 May 2020, at 10:00 UTC (18:00 local time). About 488 seconds after the launch, the experimental spacecraft, with no crew onboard, together with the test version of the cargo return capsule, separated from the rocket and entered the planned orbit.
