Good. The sooner congress winds up the sooner we can have a credible opposition to question BJP.

Sonia judgement were correct. Her decision to split Andhra has taken away their core strength just 2 from 36 out of 42 seats. Its not even getting Opp Leader position. Thats the truth

No Congress leders get votes of their own. They depend on Gandhi name for votes, still last Parliamentelectiongot 20%. The senior leaders are used to power for six decades. Now they are restless without power.BJP as a party worked hard to be in power
Modiji & BJP are not permanent !

It's so obvious from the outside. Get a leader. Have a message that connects with all sections of the society, which in current day politics is not too hard to find. Reduce beaurocracy and promote efficiency from within the party. Every leader that quits says the same thing. Can't understand why it's taking congress these many years to get even one of those things right

Sonia's judgment has always been clouded by her love of her kith and kin

Some of the comments here are terrible. As if we don’t have the civility left to listen to someone speaking normally anymore and just need the hyperbole to get invested in a political discourse. That’s one of the reasons why very few educated people enter politics. People in our country are mostly interested in catchy lines and loud noises, not any real discussion. Which is just sad.

Ms. Lahri is such a charismatic and clearly intelligent journalist. She asks important and genuine question. Good for her.

The message is clear "Diminished Leader can not make a Grand Party", which leader has been diminishing in the Grand old party since his Youth till his present "Youth"

Insidious, timing of his resignation reminds me of Mir Jafar who withdrew at crucial time of the battle.
He would not have resigned if his son was given a congress ticket to fight the elections.

If he really loved congress he would not have given his interviews in every available channel narrating his misery. Poor man. He can go to another party looking for better fodder.
