This should be a Civ 6 Wonder, the engineering and dedication involved is certainly awe inspiring.

great to see all these countries come together and build something all of humanity will benefit from.

Worst case: We learn something.
Best case: It works!

You’re doing the most important work in the world. From scientists to builders: I believe that every little step humanity does towards fusion energy is a step towards global security for generations to come. I’m proud to be a human because of you. Keep it up and thank you.

The defects are bad news but at least they found them with only one sector installed so far. I hope they find a solution and the project won't be delayed too much.

I feel so ignorant and small now after this video, the amount of information aggregated in this project is absurd, it could perfectly be an alien technology, I would see it the same way, with the same perplexity without having any notion of how the machine works! incredible! congratulations humans!

As a Pole I am proud and honoured that my country contributed to this miracle of human cooperation and engineering. ITER is one of the most important projects undertaken by humanity!

On behalf of those of us with impaired vision, i would like to say that we would appreciate it if you could (always) include a voice over narration. We spend so much time trying to read the tiny text we don't get to enjoy the stunning videos.

Go Humanity! What Science, rationality and love have brought together, let not stupidity, fear and ignorance spoil.

Only through a worldwide collaboration will be possible to achieve a stable controlled fusion reaction here on Earth.
The ITER represent the pinnacle of human Science, and I believe everyone should be proud of these halcyon days, when the future of Mankind is being written, bit by bit.
Have my compliments,
Anthony

Great aerial shots of ITER. Immersion flights, especially inside the reactor in B13, B51, B52 ... and still bring back memories.

Thanks to also get an update on the progress made on the problems related to the vacuum vessel.

the only people that don't make mistakes are people that don't do anything. the trick is fixing your mistakes in a way that turns out better than the way you initially planned. i hope i'm still alive to see it start up. the time and money invested boggles my simple mind. hoping for good results.

Wonderful video!
I can't wait to see this machine be turned on.
These scientists, engineers, construction people and everyone else are doing a great job for the benefit of the future!

Thank you. The scale of this project is astonishing. There are a few things about this video that are disappointing:

The decision to use text rather than voice over. Looking at the text I missed so much of the visual impact of the movie (I'm a slow reader, so I missed some of the text too)

A human being would provide a point of reference for comprehending the magnificent spaces presented. The casual viewer has no way to represent volume among unfamiliar objects without something familiar to give scale.

wow all this work in designing and construction, all the years of development and this is just to prove a concept, not even designed to be used to supply power to the grid. i wonder how much work the DEMO plant will take following its success, really hope this all works out.
