Here's me trying to make sense of why this works so well and why water-refreshing doesn't:

Whenever I try to refresh my hair using water it doesn't "reactivate" the gel but more so dissolves it in a way (or maybe mixes with it?? idk), causing my hair to get even more frizzy. It makes so much sense that only the gel can "reactivate" itself.

Also I used to think that adding water for a refresh was me moisturizing my hair but the hair doesn't even retain any of that water anyway because it is coated in product. So that's why it would take forever to dry because that water and gel is now just sitting on top of dirty hair.

All in all, this one little video just saved future me so much time lol
