My 2014 Maddeline Hatter cosplay was coved in Sports Gold easyweed for the jacket stripes with pokadots made in Aqua, Gold and magenta (not sure what shade colour name is) glitter version of Siser HTV. They were not selling Siser in Michael's yet and had to order from two dirrent vendors online into Canada. They used to make a Chrome/Mirror gold that was very ridged and at the time I didn't know which gold would work so I bought a roll of "Chrome" and Sports gold each.

I used White Easy Weed to cut stipes for my Draculaura Collector Doll Jabot bow because I'm done with painting stripped as a whole. 😜

The Chrome/Mirror gold I used in 2017 on updating my Brave Merida vinyl belt and after a day and half hand cutting the pattern... I knew I wanted to invest in a die cutting machine if I had to hand cut more of this... 😅(got the Cricut Maker in January 2020... before they tried to soft lock the machines)

Their current Siser Metal line is way softer and less plastic/ridget than the OG stuff.

Siser was one of the first brands to offer a lot of colour and finish options on the market and expand formula's on their HTV. I might not always use their colours now as their are so many on the market to get the "perfect" shade but I own swatches just in case to see what they have first because how thin easy weed is when adding to fabrics it's more like "paint". 🥰

Funny thing is I absolutely assumed there would not be much difference in HTV vinyls when I started playing around with my cricut and holy crud is there ACTUALLY such a significant difference between siser and everyone else. I might let myself cheap out on the house brand or whatever is on sale if I am doing large, graphic shapes on flat, non-stress areas (like bags) but I ONLY use siser for anything fine detailed, anything that needs a lot of weeding, anything that needs to withstand a lot of wear. It just isn't worth the hassle and time for the other stuff.

This is a really great recommendation, Yaya! I just got my first vinyl cutter last year, and I’ve been exploring different vinyl makers, Siser being one of them. Siser’s regular vinyl has been a dream to work with, so I’m really excited to see how well it works in this video for heat applications on fiber! Anyway, wonderfully made video as always.
