Palm Life Mode Review - A Day in the Life with Palm

The Palm is an innovative take on the Smartphone. It offers the connectivity that you need, but not enough to keep you consumed, and engrossed in your phone. The Palm is unlocked, has 4G LTE, access to the Android Play Store, and everything you need all at your fingertips, but it also has something wonderful called "Life Mode", which lets you shut the rest of the world off and keeps your phone silent, and free from distractions when you need a break. The basic idea is simple. Turn life mode on and enjoy life! And then when you need to access your phone, all of your notifications and full functionality are there as soon as you turn the screen on. It's that easy, and it's super convenient for those times when you just want a break from your phone, but still need your phone for calls, and important messages or social media interaction.

I've been eyeing the Palm for awhile. Seems like it might be time to get one given the deals it there now. Cool look at using it. That seems to be one of the first questions is what to use it for.

Great review. I think it is a cool secondary device for my use. Perhaps it would be ideal for seniors who don't or want all of the complex features of a regular cell phone. Or perhaps for children who just need a phone without the access gaming that distracts them. It is a cool device being so small.

Great "Real World" review.. These are my favorite kind of videos..I am hearing mixed reviews of the battery.. some people are saying that it is awful and can't get through the day.... I know it is all about how much you use it, but with moderate use and some Life Mode... I hope that you could at least get a full day.. You seemed to have no real battery issue, maybe those other reviewers were just not using it as it was intended.. The whole idea is to use it LESS.... I may go for it!

Nice review! I was wondering what happens to the calls received on lifemode. Does it ring while screen is off, or wait until screen is one and pop up like other notifications ?
