Flip phones are great! I'm a Japanese essayist. The name is Mikan Oshidari（忍足みかん🍊♥）. I'm using a translation tool, so I'm sorry if my English isn't good. I published a book called [I want to stop being a slave to my smartphone]. As the title suggests, I was addicted to my smartphone, so I switched to a flip phone. It's all about mental health. Flip phones are comfortable. Smartphones are addictive. It's convenient, but painful. Smartphone addiction is [normal] for people these days, so people think I'm a weirdo or weirdo for using a flip phone. sad. I hope that flip phones will be reevaluated around the world and that smartphone addiction will be seen as a problem. Please feature flip phones again.

Hope you enjoy it, it will take time but after a period you will not regret it if you cannot put down your smartphone and realise that you do nit need half of the rubbish people use.

I had this exact pho e on my minimalist journey. It was rhe best devision I ever made. Unfortunately YouTube was on there and that was still a bit of a problem for me. I now have a smartphone since my dumbphone broke and I use my smartphone for Slack and Homebase. But honestly I can't wait to fo back to a minimalist phone! I miss it so much! Keep going!

It is an actual "Dumb phone" or is it just a smart phone that flips? I have looked all over for an actual DUMB PHONE where it only calls and texts for my 12 year old. She doesn't need all the other crap, only to call and text her family and friends

I would love to rock a flip phone, one thing I can’t do without is a GPS. Also im in the military and we are heavily reliant on smartphone functionality for communication.

I have the same phone and it’s a unique life. A laptop or an iPad is very handy for calendar and other planning it is best for fighting small time distractions like on the toilet or studying
