This is why Medicare should consider dental care as a priority.

I went on a strict all meat, animal fat diet called the carnivore diet or zero carb, zero sugar diet for the last 3 years. First thing that happened was, I completely reversed my type 2 diabetes. I have lost a lot of weight. My muscles, bones and joints are much stronger. I have reversed my gum disease. My dentist says I no longer am getting any cavities and I have no plaque when I go in for cleanings. I had heart problems and palpitations and even all of that is reversing. I used to take lots of medications and now I no longer need any of them.

This was so phenomenal. Thank you so much for sharing this!! My father was 42 and had a heart attack that had led to open heart surgery and had a 5 bypass! Guess what he also had by the time he was 42?!? A entirely full set of dentures! Nobody ever wants connected any of that or ever told him because of his teeth and gum issue he should be careful and take care of his heart and cardiovascular health. This is all something that was never told to him or the family or there was a connection at all. Thank the Lord Jesus that my father is alive and well today at 72!! His recent angiogram showed that his 5 bypasses had failed over the last 20 years and somehow his heart grew a new ventricle system or something they said! We believe this is due to his relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, a peaceful heart through that and prayer and fasting, as well as quality diet, oral hygiene, and his excellent wife who cares for his needs through preventative care and lots of vitamins and supplements and heavy fish oil rich foods! ❤ What year teaching needs to be taught to all those people who are receiving denture care as well as heart surgeries etc there needs to be a great deal of education in this area!

It would be great if health insurance companies listened to this and then pay for dental care .

ever since i have been brushing my teeth with a paste of baking soda, coconut oil, a few drops of oregano oil, and a few of peppermint, my dentist accuses me of "cheating" on her since i do not need any professional cleaning when i go in.. i also often do coconut oil pulling often. however, had a few years of pacemaker failure that caused heart failure and my teeth went south for a couple years. am back on track.

I wanted to add several things that helped my oral health. When I was younger my dental health was terrible and ai am sure it contributed to my CVD. My oral hygienist gave me a tongue scraper. This helped renew good bacteria along with cutting out sugar. Another thing which ai believe vastly improved my teeth is vitamin K2 along with magnesium and D3. I get my teeth cleaned 4 times a year and my dental heath is the best it has ever been. I also believe that my oral health has helped stabilize and improve my CVD.

What a brilliant dentist...showing that myopic practitioners are limited by the idea you know everything... Next generation of dentists should sound like this!...Great video thanks

Here's what you do: Chew two pieces of fresh ginger in the morning, eat two medium cloves of crushed garlic in the evening. Sure helped my mouth!

I'm 75 years old and last year my dental hygienist aggressively attacked the tartar that I barely had. It was so aggressive that I believe she stripped lots of enamel at the roots and now I HAVE TARTAR that my stripped enamel accumulates. This is awful. There are more stories that I could write. When I was a kid, we used to say "mentir comme un arracheur de dents" (lying like a tooth puller) and boy did I meet lots of liars in the dental industry. Watch out, we have many many bad dentists now, not like in the old days.

I haven't been to the dentist for over 25 years, probably 30. I had to go bc my one cap finally broke so I needed a new one. My dentist said my teeth were in great shape and I didn't need to clean them if I didn't want to. She said I must take care of my teeth. I said I eat well, mostly vegetarian, and brush a couple times a day, rarely floss. She said that's better than most. You really just need to eat right and take care yourself. I was glad to hear I was doing something right.

Thank you
So much for this video.
In 2011 my dad had heart valve replacement

He also a few years later was given an all clear, “ from prostate cancer“
( not remission but an actual “you have beat this cancer🎉”)

My father went to work on his dental hygiene when the heart specialist (2009)said gum disease… that bacteria damages the heart.
That’s where my dad really knuckle down regarding his oral health on a daily practice
For the rest of his life 🙌
From everything you’ve said today and thank you so much for the added info.. in the questions and answers very helpful to me.

I’m now really sure my dad‘s heart operation /survival
and beating cancer are so closely linked to everything you’re educating us in this valuable
Video.
🎉 The work you’ve done along with Ellie and all those believing in this and sharing it.

Gave my dad quite a few years of health he may not have had otherwise.

IV drug users are at risk of heart valve infections.
Heart surgeons must often require preop valve patients first have their bad teeth removed. Or the new valve is in danger of infection/endocarditis.

Dr B is the most likeable internet-health dude out there. Just loved this new, harder hitting, borderline dramatic opening. He's not afraid to try new things. I tell everyone in my low carb group to hit him up for a consult, saying there's mainstream nutjobs who give everyone a pill, lowcarb nutjobs who give nobody a pill, and Dr B, who is not a nut, just a very genuine reasonable southern gent.
