I agree 100%. I know if I put into place, all these techniques, my playing flows better and sounds better. When learning a new song I do tense up, once I correct this, I tend to get it right.

I do everything wrong.. Lean it back while slouched with shoulder scrunched up.. letting out sloppy sounds.. And I think I'm gods gift to guitar players everywhere.
Time to focus and get back to basics.

Hi, i'm an avarage player and I'd just wanted to say that although posture, holding position techniques are critical. I would lie to add that if you have a disability like myself having Rhuematoid arthritis I need to concider finger position and overall positioning to all aspects of playing as fatique and stress to fingers shoulders and arms is very prominant.
Otherwise ive enjoyed following along, keep up the good work.
