I have 4 and 5 string NG3s. I love them both but I'm afraid a 6 string just feels too big for my hands.

I think 4 strings are the best because it’s lust so simple and simple is great, if I ever need to get lower, I’ll put thicker strings on, if I need both higher and lower, I’ll tune in 5ths.

I have to agree. If I go from 6 to 5 to 4 I feel limited.

I don't get this false narrative of needing big hands to play six string. If anything it helps people with small hands because the spacing is narrow.

I get it. When you have six strings, you have closer accessibility to a higher and lower range without having to climb the neck.

Everything I play on my six string is perfectly doable on four, I just keep it for intimidation factor mainly

When i pick up a 4 string i like to do a lot of slides and percussive stuff, on the 6 string i like the notes to flow, i get weird with it
