DOUG. I have a suggestion for an immensely quirky vehicle for you to review:

If you ever find yourself in Brazil for any reason, try and find the abomination that is the 2007 Ford F250 XLT Tropiclassic. It is essentially a Super Duty sedan, based on the F250 chassis with a Ford Focus rear end, making it look like an even more disproportionate version of the Chevy Avalanche.

Long story short, there is a loophole in Brazil’s laws regarding sedans sold with diesel engines. Apparently, any diesel passenger vehicle sold in Brazil must be 4x4 and must have low/high gearing. A company called Tropical seemed to turn diesel trucks into family-style cars to get around this loophole, so behold: the F250 Super Duty “Sedan” was born.

This “sedan” doesn’t handle as well or is as fuel efficient as a real Ford Focus, and no longer has the utility of an F250, so it became the worst of both worlds. It’s the backwards mullet of the car world, to put it plainly.
