during the days villagers have a gossiping phase in which they wander to nearby villagers or to a city center
so by moving the village bell to a different place you can move villagers to their new home super easily

A better tip for moving villagers: break all the work stations in the village so then if you put one down a villager will go to it just like the bed you just dont have to wait for night
